Ep 11: 3X3=9, or 9 Tips for Effective ID-SME Interaction‪.‬ Learning Lights - The Instructional Design, eLearning, and Training Podcast by Shafali Anand

    • Education

Among all those who make eLearning Content Development possible, the most mysterious, presumably intractable, and often annoying to the ID, is the SME or the Subject Matter Expert.

The ID-SME relationship is almost always caught in a storm. The SME thinks that the ID is too young, too inexperienced, too theoretical...etc., and the ID finds the SME stubborn and headstrong, unwilling to change, infuriatingly inflexible...and so on.

But there is a method to this madness.

In this episode, listen to 9 tips (3 each for the beginning, middle, and the end of your SME connection,) and remember to use them with your next SME to see your rocky-relationship transform into a synergistic, productive, and efficient teamwork.

If you enjoy this episode, do share the Learning Lights podcast with others who would like it or find it useful.
