Water Is Love – Ripples Of Regeneration

Water Is Love – Ripples Of Regeneration

“Water is Love: Ripples of Regeneration” follows a group of young people grappling with the climate crisis while we journey around the world to share inspiring stories of regenerative ecosystem design to create water retention in communities, villages, and regions. They touch upon traditional ecological knowledge, how water makes climate, and the importance of restoring complete water cycles. Through inspiring stories from successful projects in India, Kenya, and Portugal, we aim to spark conversations and actions that contribute to a regenerative and resilient world. As we’re facing both the growing devastating impacts of climate disruption and the failure of governments to act, this film points to an often overlooked need and possibility: community-driven decentralized water management as a critical key for surviving — and thriving in — this century.

Big Win In Kern County and Benin’s Sustainable Cotton Farming

On today’s show, coming back to the airwaves with some good news.  A California appeals court ruled unanimously this week that Kern County violated the law by using a flawed environmental review for its local oil and gas ordinance.  Why?  In order to fast track their oil and gas projects.  I’ll speak to Dan Ress, senior attorney for the Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment to get more info.  Then we’ll switch gears and continue the series on the demand for sustainable cotton facilitated by A Growing Culture and Cotton Diaries featuring the West African country of Benin.
