    With Ramadan approaching fast, we’re excited to kick-start our preparations and get you Ramadan- ready! This month we highlight some awesome Muslim wins and we also draw attention to some important causes that will need your support this Ramadan. In our student life section we discuss tips for balancing studying, exams and fasting. Next we go on to hear an insightful spoken word poem, ‘Lockdown Ramadan’ by @itsothmann - check out and support his channel isA! During our chai chats we were joined by a very special guest speaker– Naweeda from The Pilates Height Studio! She shares her brilliant tips on keeping fit and healthy in Ramadan. Finally our Agony Aunty Jee section answers a question on how to best prepare for Ramadan, especially during lockdown / covid restrictions!

This month we explore some of the achievements of Muslim women today, which doesn't make the news! In our student life section we discuss the problem of "Mansplaining" in the academic world. We go on to hear a fantastic spoken word poem 'Freedom' by @HoudaNoussi - check out and support her channel here! During our chai chats we discussed the rights of women in Islam and we finished off with our Agony Aunty Jee answering a question on Hijab.

    To kick start the new year, we want to offer you a brand-new podcast series! Introducing Muslimedium – a medium to voice Muslim perspectives!
    In this episode, we explore some of the ways that Muslims have contributed to the field of science and medicine. In our student life section, we express the struggles of student burnout and provide tips for coping with online school or university during the COVID pandemic. Sira was able to “drop the mic” with her poignant spoken word poetry, and then we end our very first episode with a deep discussion on work-place discrimination all over a nice warm cuppa chai!
