Yeah well, it's true though: No one seems to have ever understood me. Boohoo, right? Token whining? Or is it? Let's talk about this and see if it can spur the beginning of the journey towards some resolution and/or fulfillment about it.

No seriously, you can't continue to defend everything that you find worth defending by just blindly counterattacking. All that sounds so passionate, and we love using violent, war terms when it comes to describing taking care of ourselves, but in reality, life and human engagement isn't a war. The war is actually inside you.

Gen X complains too much (I"m Gen X, to be clear). And by that, I mean that we complain just as much as can be expected. But I'm here today to piss you off a bit and remind you of your humanity, your bitterness, and your romanticizing of the wrong damn things. Oh, and then I say uplifting shit, too!
