S01E07 The Clash of Parenting Styles Millennial Maa

    • Parenting

Too many cooks spoil the broth they say. We feel the same applies to parenting choices as well.

We need a “village” to raise a child, but all the “villagers” need to be on the same page when it comes to ground rules.

Each generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it. While this may or may not be true, we know for a fact that each child is different and the same rules cannot apply to everyone.

In this episode of Millennial Maa, Puja, and Shruthi discuss the flood of well-meaning suggestions that come their way and how they consciously manage their own biases and these differences in opinions.

About Millennial Maa: Motherhood is amazing, but it could get a bit lonely sometimes.

Well, we are here to tell you that you are not alone.

If you want to listen in on a conversation among mothers who are just like you, you have come to the right place! In this short weekly podcast, we discuss a topic and share stories from our listeners.

We talk about everything, even things no one really talks about. We even have a section where we share our WINS & FAILS.

What we don't have for you, is Parenting Gyaan, as we still are figuring it out! So, sit back and give yourself those 5 minutes listening to friends, who happen to be mothers!
