Episode 8 of #SalmanNeedsAJob is about entrepreneurship and startups, with Raghu Mohan.  Raghu was part of early teams at YourStory, Hacker Earth, and Udacity (India), and has ventured out on his own to start an innovation management company.  This interview goes through his journey in career and looks at entrepreneurship as a job, career opportunities in emerging tech, remote work, education, and his learnings from the many jobs prior to starting up.

In Feb 2018, Nikhil Taneja quit his job as General Manager at Yash Raj Films at the peak of his career, in a pursuit to find purpose in his work. Through this sabbatical, Nikhil went on to explore things he found meaning in which led to getting involved in extremely rewarding opportunities like being part of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and more. In this interview, Nikhil reflects on this entire journey and sheds light on his learnings about the Youth which formed the basis of the purpose-driven youth media company he founded called Yuvaa. Nikhil is a mental health advocate, and he shares the many challenges he faces doing the work he does, and helps understand the value of taking care of oneself.

Neeil Ojha started his first job in Formulation Research, then switched to working in media, and is now working as a Cricket Coach & Commentator with ICC in Dubai. Neeil has been very innovative with his career through active learning and upskilling, and has positioned himself to be in demand to a variety of disciplines. In this interview, I explore the fascinating career of Neeil Ojha and try to understand some of the decisions he had to take through the multiple pivots in his career.

Being a former Dubai expat myself, we bond over life in Dubai too. I found it to be a totally entertaining conversation and I hope you enjoy it!
