On Casting, Acting & Coaching with Nitin Goel!

Nitin Goel is known for his work on In the Shadows (2017), Four More Shots Please (2019) and Chor Chor Super Chor (2013).

As an actor, he believes his fundamental job is to communicate the situations and circumstances of the characters and their way of living through his body, mind & soul. And, it requires an understanding of self and interpretation of a writer’s work with the guidance and support of the director and entire cast and crew.

Working as an actor, over the years, he's observed that there are a few basic and extremely important qualities like listening, seeing, sensing & being in the moment, to make a good actor. Nitin believes that these qualities should be inculcated in every human being to make them alive, sensory and hence a good human being. And everything on this path starts with awareness of self and around.

As a coach, Nitin works with his students through workshops or classes and take a step further in order to understand ourselves as a group, society, conditions & circumstances we live in, collectively - hence becoming a better individual and growing as a sensitive person, which leads to becoming an artist.

On journalism & creative writing with Krishna Trilok!

Krishna Trilok is a writer from Chennai, India. He started writing at the age of 13, was a professional journalist at 19 and a published author at 23. His first book, the Indian high fantasy novel “Sharikrida” was released in 2016. His second work, “Notes of a Dream”, the official biography of two-time Oscar-winning Indian composer A.R. Rahman, was published in 2018. After completing these two bestsellers, as well as collaborating with multiple Indian governments and filmmakers on projects ranging from coffee table books to documentaries, Krishna decided to explore the world of visual story-telling. Currently, he is an MFA Dramatic Writing student at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, USA. “I see myself as a storyteller in every form of the word,” Krishna says of himself. “And the reason I tell them is that I’m always hoping that something I create may one day spark in someone out there the same love I felt ignited in me when I listened to or watched or read a good story. I do what I do to make people feel. And think. If I can do that for just one person, then ten years of work is entirely worth it.”
