Our guest for the day is Dr. Edita Tahiri. She is someone who has a long-standing career as a leader, politician, diplomat, and peace negotiator and is known as one of the key protagonists of political changes in Kosovo and the Balkans since the end of the Cold War. She has vast experience in foreign policy and security, international relations, conflict resolution, international peace negotiations, post-conflict transitions, peace-building, women empowerment, and the WPS agenda. She is a graduate of Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government and is a key founder and leader of the movement for independence and, was ten years Minister of Foreign Affairs in hard times during the liberation of her country and 5 terms member of parliament, and has served her country in various capacities and is the Former Deputy Prime Minister of this beautiful European country, the Republic of Kosovo.
