The King Speaks- An Exclusive Podcast Series MAYA

Episode 1-  We launch this exclusive podcast series – The King Speaks with this momentousCoronation speech. Here’s the reading of the speech by HH Jayachamaraja Wadiyar at his Coronation on September 8, 1940. In the voice of his daughter – Maharajakumari Kamakshi Devi.

This is a special episode that features the Speech of His Highness Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar , broadcast to thePeople of the State on the occasion of the First Anniversary of the Indian Republic on Friday the 26th January 1951, from the All-India Radio, Mysore. The introduction by Maya Chandra follows with the reading of this Speech by Shri Rajachandra Urs, the son-in-law of the Maharaja.
