‘Inspirational conversations on everyday life through discussions with extraordinary people’The Life Hustle is presented by Cork business women Emer O’Mahony and Vivienne Kelly, with the purpose of using social media for social good, to uplift and inspire and to present a more authentic viewpoint of everyday life through conversations with their special guests. In episode one, Emer and Vivienne are in conversation with Jamie & Chloe O’Herlihy about their journey to transition as transgender sisters in Cork and finding happiness in being their true selves.

In episode two - Be Sporty, Emer is in conversation with Rena Buckley and Stephen McDonnell. Rena is a highly respected Cork camogie player, Gaelic Footballer and Physiotherapist, winner of 7 All-Ireland Camogie medals, 5 All Star awards and she has also won 11 All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football medals between 2005-2016. Stephen McDonnell is Founder and Director at Live Unbound - Leadership, Performance and Team Development Consultancy. Stephen played hurling for the Cork minor team, before later lining out with the under-21 side, making his senior debut in the 2011 National Hurling League. McDonnell has since gone on to play a key part in defense for Cork, has won a Munster medal and has been an All-Ireland runner-up. In episode three – Be Musical, Emer is in conversation with Irish singer Gemma Sugrue. From her school days in Dingle, to travelling Australia, The Caribbean and Europe singing after school, to studying a music degree in Cork and opening a vocal training school in Munster and taking to the stage with some of the best acts in Ireland over the last few years, Gemma shares her story and insight into the music industry in Ireland and the many amazing opportunities she has experienced along the way. Gemma has just released her own album with the Julien Colarossi Quartet and has made Dublin her base with her ever growing career path. Since this podcast was recorded, they have enjoyed a hugely successful sold-out show at Cork Opera House and their star is most certainly on the rise.
