Announcement - More Episodes, Coming Next Week!

Announcement - More Episodes, Coming Next Week!

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been away for so long, it's just that a lot of things have been happening personally and professionally (all good!) and I haven't had the time to get to writing new episodes. Each episode takes about 3-4 hours to research, write, record and all that - and I was just unable to take the time. However, I have a few story ideas and have a couple of scripts ready, so you will be hearing new episodes in your feed from Nov 25 onwards! Thank you for listening and for all the words of encouragement you've had for me over the months.
I'd love to hear from you! Please say hello on Twitter or Instagram or email.
    One last thing
Please share The Origin of Things with a friend or your network. I'd love to have more listeners on the show, and you guys are my only way of getting more! Thanks a ton, and see you soon!

The Origin of Things (TOOT to friends) is a short-format podcast where you host, Deepak Gopalakrishnan (Chuck to friends) talks about the origin stories of various brands. It's a dramatized 5-7 minute story of how some of today's biggest and most beloved brands came about. The fun though, happens because Chuck reveals the name of the brand only at the end - leaving it to you to try and guess what he's talking about! Explore how, for example, one of India's biggest tragedies is connected to one of its most beloved drinks, or how a murderer was responsible for one of today's most enduring taglines. It's all there in The Origin of Things!

Worth every second

I wait for their next edition to come out. Very informative, engaging and listening to the narrator is a delight. The perspective shared is totally unique and keeps you hooked till the last second.

Wish the frequency was higher though. But that’s the problem with creating good content.

Kudos. 5 stars.
