We also tend to speak more than we know or when we are told to keep quiet or at wrong places and we too end up in trouble like "Sheru".. In the spiritual world keeping quiet or not speaking is a very integral part of spiritual development, and hence many masters/ spiritual aspirants practice "Maun" (silence) for periods through out their life.

ModMonk Anshul narrates this beautiful story, through which she explains that we are born with an innate nature, and with dharma and righteous behavior, we should stick to our "dharma" as a human being. Our Dharma is compassion, good behavior and kindness - but just because someone else is behaving in other way, we tend to change our true core of our being - and this is not correct. We need to do what we do with full love and dedication, without worrying what the other is doing. That is our Dharma.
