Alex Klein: Overcoming Illness, Equity in Sport, and Coaching Achievers Big Idea Big Moves

Alex Klein joined the Canadian Bobsleigh Program after a successful NCAA Division 1 basketball career at Bryant University where she was she made First Team All-Conference and was named Female Athlete of the
Year during her senior year.  Following that, she played professional basketball in Europe. Her pro basketball career ended prematurely when she was diagnosed with a chronic auto-immune disease. Her inspiring journey to health and a life reset lead her to the high-speed sport of bobsled.
Alex is also the Co-Founder of Eh Team Apparel and Founder of AK Coaching where she helps high achieving women reach "crazy, ambitious goals".
In this episode Alex and Jamie talk about her uplifting journey to a new sport, closing the equity gap in sports, the importance of mental training, and the role of mentors in success.
