Computers and Writing 2009: Ubiquitous and Sustainable Computing UC Davis
-
- Education
Computers do not spell the demise of literacy — in fact, they may help to create one of the most literate and engaged generations the world has seen. The Computers and Writing 2009 conference, sponsored by the University of California, focuses on sustainable perspectives for lifelong computing and communication. By making K-12 education as well as postsecondary education integral to the conference theme, this June 19-21, UC Davis conference challenges participants not only to think about computing in their own classrooms or workplaces, but within broader dynamics across lifespans.
