Let's talk about sex, late effects and HPV Behind the Beams Podcast

    • Medicine

We had the privilege of speaking to Loryn Caufield, Consultant Therapeutic Radiographer working with both external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy for gynaecological cancers. Loryn was instrumental in setting up the first (and currently only of its kind in the UK!) radiographer led sexual care after radiotherapy clinic.
Rhea Crighton, Clinical Matron for Cancer Services. Rhea is a cervical cancer survivor and tells of her experience through treatment and beyond. Rhea has supported both Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Eve Appeal and is a member of the medical advisory board for Pelvic Radiation Disease Association UK (PRDA UK).
The wonderful Hannah Dwyer, Support Services Officer at Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience working on the frontline support services helpline at Jo's, including the "1:1 Cervical Cancer Support Service" and email support service. Jo's amazing support services are offered to those experiencing a cancer diagnosis, their partners/family members and those who may want more information on HPV.
