Building world class teams through digital marketing and employer branding. Every single day we provide free resources, tools and techniques to help you to build your candidate pipelines. We discuss topics like, new tools to engage candidates, how to position your employer brand, how to generate high qualified candidate leads, and how to maximize your recruiting resources and budget to make the highest number of hires at the lowest CPH and TTF. And of course developing your employer brand and EVP to get ahead of your competitors when candidates engage with your company about new career opportunities.
We’re relentlessly pursuing massive shifts in the recruitment marketing space.
- A shift away from cut and paste templated, text based job descriptions which provide little to no value to the candidates that apply.
- A shift towards creating informative content and positive candidate experiences with your employer brand.

Host: Jeff Weidner
Guest: Maury Hanigan
Season 2 Episode 14
People on our YouTube channel and our Facebook page have been asking me for additional ideas on what type of video content can be created throughout that entire recruiting process.
Most are used to creating employer branding videos, and they're dumping candidates into the top of the funnel or they've got some other branding videos to help with onboarding and stuff, but there's a big chasm in between. So we're gonna be talking about what other kind of videos you can use throughout that recruiting process to keep candidates engaged.
My guest is the CEO of SparcStart. Please welcome to the show, Maury Hanigan. www.linkedin.com/in/mauryhanigan

Season 2 Episode 13
Recruiting is simple, but it's not easy...Learning how to recruit, it has a bit of sales, a little bit of marketing, a lot of social media, management, messaging, copywriting. You have to know so many different skill sets. It is really confusing and quite intimidating for the brand new recruiter.
Today I've got a really great guest. We're gonna be talking about candidate experiences, especially from the recruiting and staffing side. He is a trainer, a coach, a recruiter, and he's launching a bunch of new stuff around training recruiters, how to start their own business, and how to become a recruiter.

How to Create Content for Each Stage of the Recruiting Process
How to Create Content for Each Stage of the Recruiting Process
Host: Jeff Weidner
Guest: Nathan Jefferson
Season 2 Episode 9
If you're trying to build awareness and interest, then absolutely being on those social feeds, getting it out on LinkedIn and Facebook, and wherever your audience is, GitHub, et cetera, you absolutely need to build awareness and garner interest. There's specific types of content that you can do for that. However, if you're trying to push a candidate to make a decision about whether or not they should apply, or push a candidate into taking action, clicking on a link, or, you know, even going through an application process, or a setting up for an interview, then there's different types of content for that because they're in different stages. So if you look at the four stages of marketing, there's awareness, interest, decision, and action, and if you were to push content, push content that is geared towards having them make a decision about whether or not they apply, and they don't even know who you are, then it's kind of lost on them. Today we're gonna be talking about how do we create different types of content to address different issues within the entire recruiting funnel.
