Blind Man On The Move Ian Hamilton

Back in October 2018 James McLaughlin cameraman and I headed to Northwest Spain to visit a town that was aiming to lose a collective 100 thousand kilos by the start of this year. During lockdown they hit their target. In my latest podcast James and I caught up with our interpreter and guide who got us out of a hole because of a misunderstanding while we were there filming.

A decade ago Nicola Blackmore was Ian's camera woman and picture editor. Together they travelled throughout the UK reporting for BBC Scotland news. New Zealand born Nicola now lives in Australia with her Scottish husband and 2 children. In this episode Nicola and Ian catch up and talk about how they used to work together and the tech they tried out to make TV without anyone knowing.
