To tide us over til our next one-shot, here's a bonus episode where our host and GM Fiona interviews Sam Leigh, award-winning game designer of Anamnesis and the upcoming solo rpg: Death of The Author.
Sam (She/They) is an award-winning tabletop game designer from Virginia and the owner of Blinking Birch Games. As well as designing their own games, Sam also writes and edits for other TTRPGs, records voice-overs, and creates videos on indie TTRPGs.
Her upcoming game, Death of The Author, is a solo tarot journaling game about a Character fighting for agency in their story, against the wishes of their Author.
Players draw from a deck of tarot cards to receive Scene Prompts, which the Character can choose to follow, modify, or defy. Check out a demo of the game here.
