'Let Us Work Together' with Molly Nixon
Molly Nixon shares her story of traveling and living around the world for 7 years, and using her grief as fuel to jump in to activist & humanitarian work on the ground with Yazidi refugees after one of her closest friends was killed by ISIS.
Molly has recently resettled in the US after a decade of international travel, humanitarian service, and yogic exploration. Molly has a humanitarian heart, which is the foundation for all she does. She runs The Yoga Mandala Project which brings sustainable yoga programs to refugees and trauma informed training to humanitarians.

Something About THEM
In this episode, I talk about the importance of naming and identifying the ambiguous “them” that we don’t agree with or that we’re made to feel fearful of.
CONTENT WARNING:
I also process some of my thoughts around current events & the most recent mass shootings, and the many intersections of our culture that collide when violence happens. I try to offer a moment of reflection and a reminder to care for ourselves in a week that may feel like too much.
If you want to learn more about gun reform, the statistics of gun violence, and gun legislation that would keep more people (especial women & children) safe and alive, then please join Moms Demand Action. Simply text ACT to 644-33.
If you refuse to accept a “normal” existence that includes the very real fear of daily shootings, Moms Demand is a good place to start.
