    • Automiglioramento

We are so excited to be talking with Matthew Cork, head pastor of Friends Church in California, the largest Quaker church in the USA. Matthew Cork comes to the table to talk about the amazing things he and his church community have done to combat sexual exploitation in India working with the Dalit people. 250 million people are considered less than animals in India, and their movie Not Today sheds light on the situation and inspires hope to help these people who feel so hopeless. We talk about the power of education when warring against exploitation. But interestingly enough, Matthew reveals some trials he faced from his church community. Many many people have experienced “church hurt”. Because of “church hurt” some have left the church and even denounced their faith. People who are suppose to be like Jesus, can still hurt others, intentionally and not intentionally. Matthew shares his story and provides tools that we can use to help us navigate our own church hurt and even see it as a launching pad into beautiful things God is calling us to do.
