David Marks - The quest for Ikigai Flea Factory

    • Carriere

My friend David Marks joins me on the Podcast today. From the factory floor of Holden Vehicles to living and working as an educator in Japan. Oh and a moment of talking about Port Adelaide's Premiership in 2004.

Ikigai (pronounced ee-key-guy) is a wonderful Japanese concept that essentially means “a reason for being.” It's made from two Japanese words: iki, meaning “life” and kai, meaning “effect, result, worth or benefit.” Combined: “a reason for living.”

A big thank you to Ash Gale for giving me permission to use his track 'Story of your life' for my Intro. Check him out on iTunes and Spotify. Ash Gale - iTunes & Spotify.
