    Jessica Rodriguez is a visual and audio artist, designer, and researcher from Mexico. She’s currently doing a Ph.D. in Communication, New Media and Cultural Studies at McMaster University in Canada. 
    Her work focuses on audiovisual practices including live coding to produce a language for live visual music. She is the co-founder of Andamio.in, a collaboration platform that collides technologies with practices mixing text, visuals, and sound, and she collaborated with composers, writers, designers, and other visual artists to explore practices such as visual music, electronic literature, video experimentation, live coding.

    Gabriel Vinazza is a creative coder, musician and Philosophy professor. All these aspects give his work a particular interdisciplinary approach. As a digital artist, he started making little games and aesthetic programs on his 80’s Commodore 64 since he was ten years old. Later he began making music with different computers while studying piano, choir and cello at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory in Buenos Aires. 
    He initiated the first live-coding community in Argentina and he’s part of many local initiatives related to sound-art, chiptune, demoscene and more.

    Celeste Betancur is a transgender woman, married and mother of two from Medellin, Colombia. Multi-instrumentalist holding a professional degree in guitar from Berklee College of Music and a Masters degree in Digital Arts, she now works as a researcher for ITM Medellin.
    The topics of her research include “Code and programming didactics” and the intersection between education and Art conceptualization. Part of her work also includes developing human-machine interfaces.
    She’s the creator of CHmUsiCK (chuck+music) which is an audio programming library and of CineVivo, a software for producing VJ and live cinema shows. She’s also the technical chief and producer for Cinevivo research group and the co-founder of the Algo0rithmos live coding group.

    Shelly Knotts is an improviser based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, who performs with computers and other humans. Her interest in code, data and networks have lead her down strange and diverse musical paths from electroacoustic composition, through jazz and noise music to Algoraves. 
    She experiments with generative and AI techniques and opinionated algorithms to make music. She has performed at numerous Algoraves and other live coding events worldwide, solo and with collaborative projects including algo-pop duo ALGOBABEZ (algo-babes) with Joanne Armitage. 
    In 2017 she was a winner of BBC Radiophonic Workshop and PRSF ‘The Oram Awards’ for innovation in sound and music. By day she is a researcher at Durham University working on the research project ‘Musically Intelligent Machines Interacting Creatively’.
