Recovery is super important to me, and I think for people who aren't exposed first hand to the *recovery* side of addiction might be feeling a bit of mystery in regards to what that can be like. I really wanted to change that and hopefully make the idea of getting better more accessible so I brought someone who lives in recovery and was willing to get REAL about recovery. I want people to know more than just the headlines, but the day to day. That's where so much of the miracle happens.

No one better to bring on than my friend Patrick Slattery, Owner of Real Recovery Sober Living.

This is a long episode, but it's full of great insight and conversation on a topic that affects so many of us. I encourage you to break this up into a couple listening sessions because you aren't going to want to miss a second.
