But for an untimely injury, Torri Tillman’s career might have taken a different path – one in which he performed on Sunday Nights, or perhaps the Olympics as a professional athlete (or both) as his parents did. An 8-time State Champion in track and field with elite basketball and football skills, many have considered Tillman’s athletic abilities  as remarkable. But, those skills may pale in comparison to his artistic gifts. At an early age Tillman excelled in creative writing. But, only recently did he apply that talent to film-making. Caged is Tillman’s debut as a writer and producer. But, his innate leadership enabled him to attract a talented cast of characters and infuse them with a sense of purpose elevating their performances to new heights. This work addresses the serious social ill of domestic abuse while depicting love as a powerful antidote capable of breaking chains and freeing captive souls. No small task for any film-maker.  But, Tillman pulls it off with a tremendous amount of determination and focus. After a stint as a fitness and runway model, Tillman enrolled in acting courses where he quickly progressed. He cut his teeth with roles in several short independent films, two of which won several film festival awards across the nation. In Caged, Tillman plays Ariel, a talented but reluctant fighter in a fierce battle to cast off expectations and find something worth fighting for. What’s next for Tillman? There are exciting opportunities on the horizon some of which he’s been casted for including a superhero, and other opportunities he plans to create by continuing to write and produce.  But, for now he’s focused on getting Caged to the masses of people who could be moved by its message.

BAZILMUZIK (Bazil) started as a rapper from Da Hyenna Pacc, a national

underground rap group, that spanned from the east coast to the west coast.

Upon signing a deal in the late 2000’s, the studio caught on fire before

mastering process could begin, causing all hopes to go down the drain, BAZILMUZIK  branched out into the business of music consulting and artist production/management.

 

Da Hyenna Pacc is now a publishing company. BAZILMUZIK decided to restart the music, releasing over 56 singles in the last two years. Also, he co-launched a digital distribution and marketing start-up The UCE Network alongside fellow artist and business of music entrepreneur Macc Dundee.

 

BAZILMUZIK was born again as an artist and is looking to not only produce

music for the soundtrack of the struggle, and create a membership based

platform to help independent artist market and distribute their music on an

industry standard level..

 

 

Tom Barrow A RealDetroiter born with the fighting spirit of his iconic World Heavyweight Champion uncle Joe Louis Barrow. Tom was born in Black Bottom’s Negro Hospital right there in Paradise Valley. In fact, Tom was delivered by Joe Louis’ personal physician, Dr. Robert Bennett as both Joe and John Roxborough, Joes fight manager, waited outside the door with Tom’s dad. Because Joe Louis paid for Tom’s birth, Tom proudly carries his name, Tom Joe Barrow.

Glenna Alain Johnson, a Detroit native, is a world-renowned Water Colorist & Silk Painting Artist. Her scarves are worn by many diplomats, corporate executives, entertainers and patrons of the arts. Introduced to art at the Detroit Waldorf School, Glenna has been painting since she was 5 years old. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Water Color and Interior Design from the University of Detroit Mercy. An avid traveler, Glenna draws key inspirations from nature and life.
