This podcast is going to have different moods - funny, introspective, lighthearted - offering a perspective on whatever I (Amelia - a 20 year old) am feeling at the moment. It is a genuine share on what I would do and what I have done in my life. Join me as I talk about and contemplate spirituality and worldly ideas. Follow my instagram @ameliaagarciaa to get an insight of what my episodes will consist of and DM me on whether you agree or disagree on what I have said, your stories, questions or experiences, or to suggest any topics you would like me to cover! I am very excited to get to know all of you and hopefully help at least one person out there. I will be uploading a new episode every Monday :)

my thoughts on open relationships vs. monogamous relationships

my thoughts on open relationships vs. monogamous relationships

So this is a topic that I think about often when it comes to relationships. It really fascinates me as to what is instinctual for us humans. Is there a right or wrong way? Or is there many ways we can do it in life, where every way is going to have its pros and cons? I think at the end of the day it all depends where you are mentally in your life, what your mood is in the moment, and what your morals are in a specific point in your life. I just want to be a vessel to expand ones mind, allow one to realize that there does not need to be these rules in your mind and to just do whatever you want (responsibly) in the moment. We only have one life so make it worth while, do the things you have always wanted to experience, fuck up, fail, have an open mind, be curious, and just learn along the way to be the best version of yourself. Once you realize that you can quite literally do anything you want in this life, genuinely, trust me you will start having a lot more fun, life will feel euphoric if you will.

    authenticity

    authenticity

This episode I speak about authenticity, how it benefits anyone and everyone. I tried to break down, to ones best ability, how to genuinely be yourself. I feel that telling someone to just be themselves is such a cliche and broad thing to say, that we tend to roll our eyes or look over it, when there is some serious truth in it. I love asking myself questions that will change me from my core, not over looking anything, and constantly questioning certain ideas/topics around me. I may have repeated myself a few times in this episode hahahaha but just try to stay with me. Everything I say on this podcast comes from a genuine place of wanting people to acknowledge the answers that they have within themselves, to question everything, learn from others, and to showcase the importance of evolvement. Being authentic varies person to person, at the end of the day you are with yourself every second, so pay close attention to those wants and needs, no more lying to yourself :)
    much love,
    Amelia

Intro Back (thoughts can be unreliable & irrational)

Intro Back (thoughts can be unreliable & irrational)

This week's episode is just my intro back to podcasting. I explain how I got into my own head by making excuses on why I should stop podcasting, due to caring what other people think of me and putting myself in others' heads. My podcasting originally started because my mentor always thought I should speak about my experiences, give advice, be open with others who might need it, and because I always loved doing voice notes on my phone as my main source of journaling, it was always easier for me to articulate through my voice rather than writing. I was still scared to fully be vulnerable with people I don't know, so I started with less heavy subjects in my first few episodes. Now I am ready to share, pretty much exactly what I would record on my phone alone, with you guys, because I feel like it may help at least someone out there :))

    My Hospital Stories

    My Hospital Stories

As a child, I was quite clumsy and always got hurt. Because of that, I have a few scars that people always ask about. So for this episode I thought it would be interesting to hear the majority of my hospital stories explained :)

    I Need to Slow Down

    I Need to Slow Down

I talk about how the world is now so fast paste because of social media and that it has shortened our attention spans. I speak about how I constantly put myself in other peoples shoes to see how they interpret me or if they are even appreciating the work I put out. I also talk about feeling numb and why the feelings of duality are so important.
