My name is Marla Hughes, and I am the host of this new podcast, Interviews with Innocence. I have a Masters Degree In Exercise Physiology and I am also a graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Consciousness and Transformative Studies at JFK University in Pleasant Hill, CA.

My mission in creating this podcast is to help all of us to awaken to the spiritual essence of our children and the importance of allowing our children to be their true, authentic selves.

This podcast will feature experts in the field of children and spirituality, who illuminate our understanding of children’s spirituality, including their descriptions of God, heaven, near-death experiences, final words, and accounts of past lives and much more.

Currently, there are no podcasts that speak directly about children’s spirituality and what adults can learn from children about how to be more present, grateful, loving, and compassionate. The very young are our teachers, they are, after all, the masters of living in the present moment, enjoying the messiness of life, curious about the universe in all of it's dimensions and not concerned about ego or comparisons. No other podcast offers an exclusive forum for research into pediatric spirituality that not only enriches us personally but advances our research into consciousness.
