Mommy went to work
For our project, we chose to do a podcast as our medium of choice. Our topic was exploring the impact of maternity on women’s careers. Our philosophy behind choosing a podcast was very much intentional. Not only does a podcast provide a creative outlet and one that is easy and accessible to digest, but the podcast format is one that allows for discussion, dialogue and for the sharing of personal experiences in a productive, academic, and safe environment while have the host guide conversation and ensuring the conversation is entertaining, poignant and on topic. As such, with such a personal topic in mind using the podcast platform to our advantage, we present our podcast titled, “Mommy went to work” as part of the Ken & Co. podcast series.
