Long View Lore is an actual play 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons podcast based in the completely homebrewed world of Laureth and recorded in the Portland, OR area. Our goal is to give you a seat at our table so you can be there for all of the epic moments as well as all the ridiculous antics.
Our story follows a ragtag group just as they muddle their way out of a cursed wood and back into the world at large. All of them set out for their own reasons but the mysteries of the world that are beginning to be unlocked and the forces set into motion by their actions will draw them all into a conflict that has been quietly raging unseen for eons.
Two questions float above the rest: How will our heroes learn to cope with this new world, and will any of them take any of it at all seriously ever?

Episode 1 - The Fall
Welcome to our table, our very first episode, and the world of Laureth!
We're a group of friends from the Pacific Northwest with mixed experience levels, from first time playing to old hands at table top games, and we meet up regularly to play a game of 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons in the homebrew world of Laureth.
After some one-off games and one very long, very fun Saturday that began in a library but overflowed into a coffee shop we decided we were having so much fun that we should put our theater, technology, and artistic backgrounds to work and share it with all of you.
Our story begins directly after the events of that halcyon Saturday with our heroes: Bjorn, Frektar, Rurik, and Tally escorting the newly liberated town blacksmith Meldea back to the only known town, Willowshollow, in the nearly unnavigable cursed woods of Laureth. Along the way they find an odd clearing and investigate. Hilarity ensues as they begin their trek down the rabbit hole of this mystery from within a corner of their world already shrouded in half truths and whispered legends. -
