Mistaken Identity Albert Artis - Words of Encouragement

    • Cristianesimo

For years I didn't understand why I still felt like living a sinful lifestyle after becoming a Christian. Why do I have these sinful urges if I am born again?
Doesn't the Bible say,
"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
Why do I fall into sin, make bad decisions, and then wonder how I got here if I am a new creation in Christ?
The answer is "Mistaken Identity." As Christians, we are mistaken about our own identity when we believe we are what we feel.
Recently I spoke for our online service at my home church. The sermon topic was "Walking In The Spirit." I decided to share the sermon on my podcast. We can never truly walk in the spirit when we are confused about who we are in Christ. I hope this message is a blessing to you.
