Murf’s Turf Tom Murphy

Tom starts off in Jacksonville, during one of his trips. He trashes ESPN basketball analyst, Stephen A. Smith, for ATTEMPTING to talk about hockey. Tom resumes the podcast 3 weeks later in real time, discussing how his Anchor app crashed, how he nearly lost all of his content and how he nearly quit the pod. Tom finally discusses his love to running and his disdain for airplane clappers!!!!

Tom shares some fun facts about Cinco de Mayo, along with his opinion on other “special” days in the month of May. He laments about a pilot being unprofessional on the radio with a controller and the repetitive nature of public address announcements on the airlines. Tom also praises his boxing gym and the new heart monitor he’s been using!!

Tom discusses allergy shots and why his ENT is the best doctor he’s ever had. He talks about his kids, AGAIN....he mentions the benefits of having good music to a customer that is “on hold”, and finally Tom talks hockey, as the NHL MassMutual East division is heating up!!!!

Tom rants about people making false assumptions regarding an individual’s personal finances. He tells a story about the “annoying guy at the bar.” And finally he talks about his recent flights and how they occasionally bring him back to his roots in Aviation.

Tom talks a bit about his boxing class workouts, running into a cop that helped him out over the summer, and the general stupidity of people.

Tom chats with his good pal Kevin Barattini aka DJ Medic. They get into everything from Sean Avery, NYR hockey, Mens League hockey, to Kevin’s business and family, including a beautiful story of love which culminated in the birth of two beautiful children.
