    Karl is founder and CEO of a not-for-profit environmental organisation, Positive Change for Marine Life.  Initially inspired from experiences in Japan and with only $100 in the bank account, the organisation has expanded their work with communities in other countries, including India and the Solomon Islands, whist also delivering conservation projects in their own backyard.

    Jess was introduced to the ocean at a young age, completing her dive certification in high school. Her commitment to the environment continues, as a recycling queen via her intricate bin system. I have four bins for my waste / recycling. How many does Jess have?  More than four!

    If recycling is too hard for you, Jess has a system that anyone can implement in their own home that makes recycling easy and reduces items going to landfill.  Jess's actions and passion towards a sustainable lifestyle created a ripple effect with her partner introducing one recycling stream into his workplace.

    Adrienne is an award winning conservation documentary film maker and dive instructor, who with camera in hand, visited one of the largest shark fishing markets in Indonesia to document why sharks were disappearing from local dive sites and how this affects locals, including divers and fisherman. 

    In this episode we go behind the scenes to hear Adrienne's conservation journey and what role documentaries play in activating and inspiring conservation action so others seas the movement.

    Anna is a manta ray scientist, who lives the dream working for the Marine Megafauna Foundation in Mozambique. Combining her love of science, conservation, diving and photography, she coordinates the global citizen science program, MantaMatcher.org.

    Krystal is an experienced wildlife carer and educator, who started her journey with dreams of becoming a marine biologist. Along the way, she discovered a love for terrestrial species, and currently works with one animal many Australians fear - snakes. Through education, Krystal is empowering people to appreciate and respect wildlife. She also achieves this by slipping into a scale-y tail and diving beneath the surface as a mermaid!

    Sian is an eco warrior with enormous passion. We met in Indonesia on the small tropical island and diving mecca of Gili Trawangan. While I lived there for 3.5 years, Sian is still living there nearly 10 years later. She works for the Gili Eco Trust and spends a lot of her time cleaning beaches, and collaborating with stakeholders to reduce waste and re-green the island. 

    No one person is going to be the saviour of the world  but it needs everybody doing their own little thing. Through Sian's journey and the environmental initiatives she has helped to implement with the Gili Eco Trust, be inspired to seas the movement and do your own little thing too.
