The 'Sexy" Nurse stereotype has often been reserved for women...are the tables finally turning in 2020? Are Male NURSES also seen as sex symbols? MISTER SUPRANATIONAL 2019, NATE CRNKOVICH joins us on this episode to discuss sex stereotypes in Nursing, body image issues in males from Teens to midlife, what's in store for Millennial and Gen Z Nurses in the future, and he'll also tell us his story of how he was asked to be a model at a local Walmart.
Nate Crnkovich RN, BSN, is from Omaha, Nebraska, Nate is a 25 year old former college football star who is a traveling ER trauma nurse, currently residing in Los Angeles, California. Over the course of the next year there are many things he hopes to accomplish as Mister Supranational 2019. While working with the amazing Mister Supranational organization he first and foremost hopes to incorporate his profession as an emergency trauma nurse to help bring modern medical aid to those without access to it, in the US and around the world.
Nate seized the opportunity to fulfill his aspirations to be a model and actor when he entered the Mister Supranational USA competition. The winner would represent the United States at the international competition. Nate realized this dream when he won the Mister Supranational USA title in October 2019. Passionate about making a difference in the lives of people in critical need, Nate is using his medical background and newfound international platform to organize medical missions to bring medical education and aid to impoverished communities.
