Jocelyn completes her notebook filled journey through Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. After that we deep dive into the June Nintendo Direct which featured new Mario, new Zelda, and the return of Metroid Prime 4! We also discuss the possibility of a handheld Xbox experience and Arcane getting a second and final season this November on Netflix.

We have a news filled episode this week as we go over all the announcements during The Ghost of E3! We kick things off with the Geoff Keighley led Summer Game Fest, then move over to the PC Gaming Show. Before the break, we focus in on BioWare's reveal of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Wrapping up the show, we check in on the Xbox Games Showcase, including Phil Spencer's answer to the recent layoffs and shutdowns at his studios. Finally, we close out the show with a few thoughts on Ubisoft Forward.

We explore Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door on Nintendo Switch, and share our history with the franchise. For the news, we go over the latest PlayStation State of Play, PS VR2 is coming to PC soon thanks to an adapter, and the Asus ROG Ally gets an upgrade.

We kick off the show with Jocelyn's reaction to Liam Hemsworth as The Witcher in Season 4. Then after an internet outage and a day later, Ryan shares his adventures in Final Fantasy XVI, while Jocelyn enters the wild world of Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. Over in the news, Nintendo makes an acquisition from Embracer, MultiVersus relaunches with more Warner Bros characters, Capcom may have more Resident Evil Remakes in the works, and welcome to Ryan Don't Buy It Part 2 with expensive The Legend of Zelda LEGO.

We return with a little more Fallout 4 (last time for a bit, we promise) and a lot more Dead by Daylight (going to be a fun year). After going over the 8th Anniversary stream for Dead by Daylight, we move into other video game news from the past week. We start with the thing Ryan likely shouldn't buy which is the Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, then move over to Tomb Raider returning for a TV show on Amazon, Square Enix will re-focus on multi-platform releases, and we have a new Assassin's Creed arriving in November.

We kick off the show with the question on everyone's mind, should you purchase Hades II in Early Access? We also continue to have Fallout on the brain with Ryan still playing Fallout 4 and we then go into spoilers for the Fallout TV Show. Moving into the news, Microsoft once again closes studios and lays off staff, PlayStation gets into and out of hot water with Helldivers 2 on PC, and Nintendo acknowledges the Switch successor in a Tweet.
