This week we tackle the crime cases of impoverished communities within Malaysia. The Batek community within Malaysia has long been prosecuted by the government and corporate greed. Long-over looked agreements have stripped them of their land, access to clean water, and public health. These policies showed their effects in 2019 when the community was affected by a mysterious disease that took the life of many.

The next case we looked into was the notorious British sex offender and child rapist, Richard Huckle. Richard lived in Malaysia from 2006 to 2014, where he pretended to be a devoted Christian and English teacher, to gain access to impoverished children through churches, schools, and orphanages.

This week Sarah and Tara discuss crime cases that were driven by untreated mental illnesses. Our first case is about David Berkowitz, who terrorized New York City, the summers of 1976 and 1977. He would go on to blame his murders on demonic possession from his neighbor's dog.

Next, we discussed the case of Tsutomu Miyazaki, also known as the Little Girl Murderer of Japan. Starting with his childhood trauma and neglect from his dysfunctional family to how he became a sadistic child rapist and murderer.

This week we dive into the world of Eastern female murderers. After an unsuccessful attempt to become a Popstar, Mona Fandey turned to the world of black magic, money, and murder. Officially deeming her a terrifying infamous icon of Malaysia. The next story is about the infamous sister serial killers Raya, and Sakina.  The authorities in Alexandria, Egypt, begin to take notice when dozens of women all wearing gold start going missing in Alexandria, Egypt.

In this weeks episode, get ready for a wild ride as we explore the insane world of the UFO Heaven’s Gate cult who believed that their only exit to their extraterrestrial heaven was during the 1997 comet Hale-Bopp. The next emotional rollercoaster of a story is about Cult Leader Marcus Wesson, who viewed himself as God and demanded his children serve him as such.

Kicking off our first episode with two horrifying stories of abduction, torture and murder that are near and dear to our hearts. Junko Furuta, a 16 year old Japanese school girl, was riding home from school when she was abducted. Completely unaware the the next 44 days of her life would hold unimaginable suffering. The next story we cover is that of Jessica Lunsford, an innocent 9 year old girl who was taken from her bedroom in the middle of the night. With nothing but her nightgown and a stuffed dolphin toy to comfort her.
