Two years ago I began to have a series of intense “awakening” experiences. As a non-religious, aesthetic-leaning, digital marketing executive turned startup CEO everything I thought I knew - turns out I didn’t. These are my lessons and stories to share on what life is now and how I got here. They are meant to be helpful and encourage your own direct experiences with the universe. I create these under my spiritual name Balarama. It was given to me by my great teacher Ram Dass. I do this in his memory and with my guru, Neem Karoli Baba. Love everyone, serve everyone, tell the truth.

What happened
After 5 years of relearning life and who I am, I’m finally sharing this story of my spiritual awakening. The only motivation for doing so is to hope the ears that hear find it helpful in some way. This is a very personal story and not an easy one to put into words.
The reason I share this, is to offer that these direct experiences do happen. Sometimes its to a yogi in the Himalayas and sometimes its in a closet in your parents’ home. The patterns of the universe work in miraculous ways and often those cannot be understood by the human mind.
