S1:E12 | The Big Goodbye
Playing the part of the character Detective Dixon Hill from his favorite book series, Picard enters the holodeck along with his resident history expert, Officer Whalen, as well as Beverly Crusher, and of course Mr. Data. All is well until... The holodeck screws up and not only are they stuck in the holonovel and surrounded by armed gangsters, but the safety protocols are off so the unreal bullets can do some very real damage.

S1:E9 | The Battle
The Enterprise has been sent to the Xendi Sabu system to rendezvous with a Ferengi Alliance vessel. For three days there has been no message from the Ferengi except "Stand by, Enterprise."
When the Ferengi Captain - Daemon Bok finally makes contact, he gifts Captain Picard with an old, beat-up constellation class starship - the USS Stargazer - which just happens to have been under Picard’s command when it met it’s demise 9 years prior.
Unbeknownst to anyone, Bok is using a secret mind-control weapon (that looks like a giant, glowing, Pokemon Ball) to Gaslight Picard and give him migraines. Why? Stay tuned to find out!
