2021: Tam Nakano, The Fall, and The Rebirth

S02E04 - TAM NAKANO, THE FALL, AND THE REBIRTH
The final part in our look at Stardom's reliantly brilliant Giulia brings us to the year of our Lord, 2021.

While in the wider world it's only been slightly better than 2020 so far, for Giulia it has thus far seen her hit immaculate highs and astonishing lows, heading into the year as reigning World of Stardom Champion, defending the belt against Starlight Kid and Natsuko Tora, making more history at Wrestle Kingdom alongside Donna del Mondo partner Syuri, and with the rest of her DdM collective in Maika, Himeka and Natsupoi, the battle the likes of Oedo Tai, STARS, Queen's Quest and the Cosmic Angels.

It then eventually reaches the intense, climactic showdown between Giulia and Tam Nakano at the 10th Anniversary - All Star Dream Cinderella PPV in a now-iconic Hair vs. Hair match. A feud nearly a year in the making culminating in the most powerful battle of valour in Eastern wrestling.

It is then a new dawn for Giulia. Armed with a new focus, it's a return to the tag division as her and Syuri take on Oedo Tai, Cosmic Angels, Queen's Quest and even Himeka and Maika in the pursuit of the Goddesses of Stardom Championships.

2020: Stardom Dominance & Donna del Mondo

2020: Stardom Dominance & Donna del Mondo

    S02E03 - 2020: STARDOM DOMINANCE & DONNA DEL MONDO
An impromptu 2 week wait for a new episode because the first try was terrible and there's football on, and I am easily distracted. But we are back looking at the incredible of Stardom star Giulia.

In 2020, not even the Coronavirus could hamper a standout year for the former Ice Ribbon rookie, immediately busting down the doors and making history at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14, as Giulia teamed with the late Hana Kimura to take on the Championship team of Arisa Hoshiki and Mayu Iwatani. From there, she would establish herself as "not one to mess with" as she would do battle against the likes of Momo Watanabe, Natsuko Tora, Saya Kamitani, Konami and spark early embers with a certain Tam Nakano.

In amongst all this, Giulia would forego the factions of Stardom at the time, and forge her own empire with Maika, Syuri, Himeka and Natsupoi in tow, and establishing Donna del Mondo as the latest force in the promotion. Giulia with her new unit behind her, would battle the likes of Queen's Quest, STARS, Oedo Tai and Tokyo Cyber Squad, with championship pursuits firmly in mind.

19-21: Dragon Gate Return & AEW

19-21: Dragon Gate Return & AEW

    S01E08 - 19-21: DRAGON GATE RETURN & AEW
Our final part in the examination of AEW superstar PAC and his in-ring wrestling career sees him flourish as a star since his release from WWE. After aligning with Dragon Gate's R.E.D. stable and capturing the company's Open the Dream Gate Championship in December, PAC faces any and all competition head-on, defending against the likes of Kzy, Shun Skywalker and Dragon Kid, whilst engaging in stable warfare with R.E.D. He rediscovers the BritWres scene, taking part in dream matches against the likes of Will Ospreay, WALTER, Chris Brookes, Rampage Brown and Michael Oku, before a certain fresh-faced promotion invited him to the fold...

Whilst his run with AEW has been marred with the collapse of civilisation as we know it, PAC hasn't exactly remained quiet, early feuds against Hangman Page and Kenny Omega transitioned into to rise of the Death Triangle alongside Penta el Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix, wars against Orange Cassidy, Eddie Kingston and The Butcher and The Blade followed, before championship opportunities came calling for the trio.

17-18: Reign as King & Departure

17-18: Reign as King & Departure

    S01E07 - 17-18: REIGN AS KING & DEPARTURE
From such a fruitful opening couple of years with the company, comes the fall from grace for Neville in his time with the WWE. 2017 sees our favourite Geordie son break into the Cruiserweight Division, battling it out against the likes of reigning champion Rich Swann, TJ Perkins and Cedric Alexander, a cursed WrestleMania 33 encounter with Austin Aries, before a brief feud with Enzo Amore spelled the end for Neville's patience with The Dub.

What follows was a corporate contractual nightmare of the highest order which put a hard pause on Nev's career for nearly a year. Down but not deterred, a dramatic 2018 comeback to Dragon Gate as PAC breathed new life into the BASTARD, who would link up with Eita and his R.E.D. stable to go to war against Ben-K, Shingo Takagi, MaxiMuM, Tribe Vanguard, and Flamita, before challenging Masato Yoshino for his Open the Dream Gate Championship.
