Hosted by Mauricio Yanez (NYUAD'21), the third episode of Leaving the Nest is on the topic of managing mental health and well-being. In this episode, an NYU alumni talks about some of the differences between mental health challenges in university versus after university, how NYUAD prepared her to cope with mental health challenges and what are some of the ways in which she is continuing to maintain her health and well-being. 

Our guest speaker is Farah Mohmad. Farah graduated from NYU Abu Dhabi in 2015 with a bachelors in Psychology. She then went to New York to complete her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from NYU. She is a Licensed MSW in New York State and currently works as a social worker/court justice facilitator at Centre for Court  Innovation in New York City where she is responsible for facilitating on-site and off site community service programs for participants who have received civil summonses.
