10. Turn on the Lights
Sometimes, we willingly put ourselves in the dark.
Check out this episode to see what you can do to turn on the lights in your life. -
9. The Backstory of the Back Story
There's always a backstory, an explanation, something to help us understand why things are the way they are. The problem comes when we don't get this backstory and we see an incomplete picture, causing us to process a situation based on the few fragments we're piecing together.
The bible encourages us to lean NOT on our own understanding (Prov 3:5) but to trust in God. He is, after all, the only one who knows everything, the only one with full understanding. -
8. Lying is for Humans
We've all heard the saying "God cannot lie", but what is it about Him that makes this so?
I was taking a walk one day, looking at the trees, admiring how their leaves were shedding in preparation for winter. I thought to myself, "Look how the seasons come and go like clock work". God set the seasons in place when he created the earth thousands of years ago, and those very words still stand true today. It is in that moment I had an epiphany, "If everything that you say comes true, how then, is it possible for you to lie?" -
7. Patience = Pizza
You can draw teaching moments from literally everything that happens in your day to day life. Who would have known, that a free pizza would help me to see the bigger picture in God's timing. Now I understand why sometimes "late" is better than being early.

6. Where Is Your Faith
Why is it that we often wait until things get really bad, before we ask for help?
Are we trying to figure it out on our own?
Are we hoping the intensity of our situation is a strong enough hint for those around us to come to our rescue?
Whatever the case, this episode encourages you to examine the reason why you may be delaying your "MAYDAY" call. Ditch the excuses and reach out to Jesus sooner rather than later. -
5. Chairs Are Not Ladders
As humans, we're so versatile. We can learn to do so many things and adapt to a myriad of situations, eventually morphing into something totally different to who we actually are. I don't have the answers, but perhaps this episode will help you start to think about who you are. Are you really a chair or someone else's ladder?
