ABSURD '19: Trey Grant
Trey Grant is the Lead Pastor/Teaching Pastor of The Well Church in Keller,
Texas. Trey is a graduate of Hampton University and has a Master of
Religion from Redeemer Theological Seminary (Formerly known as Westminster
Theological Seminary Dallas). Prior to full-time ministry, Trey spent four
lucrative years in Sales-Management in Corporate America with several
Fortune 500 companies. After, Trey served on the pastoral staff at Irving
Bible Church in Irving, TX for six years, first as a Student Pastor and
then as Church Plant Resident before being called to found and plant The
Well Church Keller. Trey's duties as Lead Pastor/ Teaching Pastor include
giving overall vision and direction for The Well Church, raising up,
training and equipping leaders and preaching and teaching the Life
Transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ. Alice and Trey have been married for
ten years. They have two beautiful children; Mason and Hannah. -
ABSURD '19: Oneya Okuwobi
Oneya Fennell Okuwobi is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology studying race and
religion at The Ohio State University. Oneya’s research interrogates how
diverse organizations impact racial inequality. Along with her husband,
Ayodele, Oneya is founding elder of 21st Century Church, a church plant in
Cincinnati, OH. She is co-author with Mark DeYmaz of Multiethnic
Conversations: An Eight-Week Journey toward Unity in Your Church. It is the
first personal devotional and small group study on multiethnic life and
church designed for people in the pews. -
ABSURD '19: Jeff Snodgrass
Jeff Snodgrass is the lead pastor at Unite Church in Pasadena, California.
He has been in full time ministry for 14 years and has an intense passion
for making disciples, maximizing the ability of all around him, and mending
racial divides. He and his wife have been married since 2007 and added four
children to the family between January 2012 and December 2013. God has
brought their children to them in a divine and purposeful way. The oldest
two are twins at the age of twenty-three and the younger two are both boys
only seven months apart. -
ABSURD '19: Dele Okuwobi
Dele Okuwobi is the co-founding elder and senior leader at 21st Century
Church, a church plant in Cincinnati, OH. He also serves as the director of
21st Century Church Network, a relational church network for Multiethnic
churches planters. -
ABSURD '19: Courtney Brown
Courtney Brown is the Operations Manager/Family Partnership Director for
Habitat for Humanity in East Central Ohio. Courtney has served as Family
Partnership Director at HFH East Central Ohio for the past 6 years. During
her tenure with the affiliate, Courtney not only enhanced existing partner
family education opportunities but also used her talent and heart to create
a holistic educational curriculum for families. This good work has made HFH
East Central Ohio a training ground for affiliates from all over the
country who have come to learn and model the program. Courtney has taught
workshops at both the State level in Ohio as well as HFHI and was part of a
Global Village team working in El Salvador. As Courtney begins to migrate
into an operations role at the affiliate, she enjoys working with staff who
seek to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build
homes and communities of hope. Courtney is a Canton, Ohio native and a
graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College where she earned a Bachelor’s of
Science degree. -
