International Women's Day. Girls Education & Gender Imbalance
On March 8th 2021, we recognised International Women's Day,
with this special episode from the Active Communities Network Project in Belfast. Our youth workers interviewed two female students about studying during the Covid-19 Lockdown and their views on higher education.
Is there a gender imbalance in the education system? Girls over achieve in education, but women are massively under-represented in senior roles in the workplace.
