Our goal is to continue our kitchen table conversation about how we feel truly with no filter on issues impacting and affecting Black People. Not colors people or minorities but Black people. People from African descent. People from Africa. Cornerstone of any system on this world, yet still struggling, devalued, diminished and divided. Divided in our own beliefs, actions and lack of self-awareness of our worth, we continue blaming and expecting instead of speaking with one voice. Episode 1: What a year 2020 has been!
Dear Listeners,
Hope you are all well. This is our first episode in 2021. We are still trying to put this podcast together in order to share thoughts and ideas with you. We want to bring light into the issues people like myself are dealing with and we hope you also will be impacted. During my first podcast, I have shared with you that I was coming from a poor background. But after thinking about it, I asked myself, how many of us have used the word poor to describe ourselves so often? Then I wanted to know, are we really poor? In my situation, am I really coming from a poor background? Let's talk about it and talk about what a year 2020 has been.
