With the latest post of the ongoing Monday Morning series “Off The Charts,” we are here with one of the most adorned professors, Dipti Patra mam. She achieved PhD in Digital Image Processing from this institute in 2006, along with a BTech and Mtech in Electrical Engineering. She has taught for more than 30 years in this institute and is a pandora of knowledge.

Her life podcast consists of her life stories, struggles and memories, all summed up and well narrated by her in this podcast.

With its newest series “Of the Charts” ,Monday Morning, aims to depict the most decisive phase of our professors in a very genial and cheery way. In the first and foremost episode of this thread, we are with Prof Saroj Kumar Patel sir from the department of Mechanical Engineering. Being himself a student here from the batch of 1985 and having taught numerous successful students at this institute over a period of more than 30 years, we can say he’s a person deeply connected to this place. In this version of the Final Year Interview, we bring the tale of Sai Swarup Mohanty, a stalwart from the department of Industrial Design who can be described as a man of excellence. The story is about a humble genius who went against the odds and defied the trends to do what he believed was his passion. With numerous lucrative internships, including internships at Scaler and Upstox and a full-time opportunity at Rubrik, he has set a benchmark for anyone who wants to pursue a career in design.

In this version of Final Year Interview, we bring to you the tale of Rupesh Mahore, a final year student from the Department of Physics and Astronomy who can be best described as --"A man with the abilities of a many." A stand-up comic himself, his feats in research are unknown to none. Not only has he done numerous internships at reputed institutes like Harvard, ISRO, IITM, and IIT Guwahati, but he has also worked with stalwarts like Prof.H C Verma. But the long list of achievements doesn't stop there, he also developed Oxyserve alongside his brother for which he got selected for CERN entrepreneurship Programme 2021. His exploits as a stand-up comedian have presented him with countless opportunities to perform alongside the best like Zakir Khan, Atul Khatri, and many more.

In this version of Final Year Interviews, we bring you the story of the ex-President of Clarion and the Chief Coordinator of the Training Committee, who is known not only for her leadership but also for her excellent debating skills and achievements. Having contributed to organizations like the Institute Counselling Services, NITR Alumni Association, and Degree 361, Parul Rath, a final year student hailing from the Department of Chemical Engineering, has overcome multiple obstacles to eventually carve out a career that many will be envious of. After interning at Citi Bank in the summer, she is placed at the dream company for all Analytics aspirants, i.e. ZS Associates. Listen on to know more about her journey so far.
