Episode 3: How do we know what we know?
In answering the question of how we know what we know about the ancient world, we discuss texts, archaeology, how information has gotten passed down and what the limitations of our knowledge are. We take some detours into a wacky Roman law, a couple of terrible conversations Amanda has had with dudes in bars, Lauren being incapable of not making dumb jokes, and a really cool example of early Greek writing on a piece of pottery called Nestor's Cup.
