This podcast series is aimed at taking a step closer to openly discuss on various atrocities and challenges faced by the members of marginalised castes due to the practice of this system.
On this platform, you and I together will try to find out various aspects of casteism, which is generally considered to be obsolete in today's time. And to help us understand it, academicians, people from various marginalised castes, experts among others will join in.

What West Bengal is like under caste lens?
West Bengal has always been at the forefront for all the good reasons. But society could only be so much flawless.
Despite having more than 23% population of Scheduled Castes in the state, there is no major representation from them in mainstream politics.
In this episode, we will get to learn:
• What is the history and the current status of SCs in the state
• What is soft and hard casteism
• Why is there a very little or no mentions of SCs in the state's history of literature and arts
• How, despite the claims of being a casteless state, West Bengal is practicing discrimination based on the caste system
