Steve Lazar has been a long term friend of Ivanhoe Grammar School first visiting the school back in 2002.  Over the last twenty plus years Steve and his wife Ros ( along with their children in the early days) have been working to bring hope to the people of Mozambique through their work with IRIS Ministries. During this time Steve and Ros have taken care of  hundreds of children who had no where else to go, including taking 10 Children into live with them in their home. As an educator Steve has also established a school for the children of the center and over a 1000 children from the local community.
