Conversations and experiences with people who fly under the radar. Professionally I'm a director/producer, personally I'm an outdoorsman, waterman, traveller, handyman, name it I've probably done it.

Life exists to be experienced. Let's talk about it.

Episode 5 - Drew Bienemann -- Train Hopping and Afghanistan

Episode 5 - Drew Bienemann -- Train Hopping and Afghanistan

Drew Bienemann is not your average dude, you can’t be average and train hop. This podcast was recorded on location Tuesday the 28th of August around the Los Angeles train depot. I met Drew a few days earlier and we got to talking and when he told me he train hopped I knew I had to see what it was about.

We legit scouted in preparation of a trip he’d be making a couple days later, ideally riding on up to Portland.

We also talk about his time in Afghanistan, both as a cinematographer and photographer.

    Episode 4 - Sakae Cortazzi

    Episode 4 - Sakae Cortazzi

    3 Sakae Cortazzi

Before today my mother had never heard of Podcast’s… SO I thought I’d record a podcast with her!

We start with basic introductions and then jump right into the beginning of her latest trip to Bolivia. Potosi, Illimani Mountain La Paz, Santa Cruz, the Amazon… she’s been to them all.

Her sister Laili lives in Bolivia and loves adventure almost as much as my mother does. They make good travel partners!

We talk about deforestation + development within the city of Santa Cruz, traveling around the country by bus vs air, all the amazing places to go see, Bolivian and indigenous culture — which includes a bit of history…

It’s a fun one. As you’ll hear my mother lives and carries herself with passion. I don’t get many words in on this recording but I didn’t feel like I needed to.

Thanks for listening! Please like and subscribe! Appreciate all you world citizens!

P.S. Follow me at @aattai for photos from my mothers trip!

    2 Shaunt Halebian -- 2013

Shaunt and I hung out and talked about a few things.

Here's what we talked about in no particular order:
Rabies, Skunks, Africa, Growing up, Irvine, Los Angeles, Oakland & The Bay, Advertising, Freelance Life, Surfing, Pro Surfers, Perspective of Life, Art, Kanye West, Andy Warhol, What he wants to REALLY do...There's a lot packed into this conversation so enjoy!

P.S. I wasn't really prepared to sit out next to the reservoir in terms of warmth preparedness. I'm pretty cold as we talk through the interview and you'll probably hear it.

    Brooke - 2013 Archive

    1 Archive BROOKE

I really wanted to start a podcast in 2012. In 2013 I went ahead and recorded my first official podcast recording... with my high school friend Brooke!

We had been hanging out on and off after we graduated, which was a new thing since we never really hung out while we were in high school.

Anyways...here we are in 2017 and I'm finally trying to make it more of an official podcast sort of thing. Here we go!

    Shownotes from 2013:

We talk about her life. Learning Photography. Aspirations. Adultery. Moving On. Moving Up. Moving Out. Young adolescent friendships. Childhood.

    And more!
