    Cheryl and Dina dish about the unique challenges and practical strategies for maintaining a healthful lifestyle while managing complex conditions.

    Cheryl Iny Harris, MPH, RD is a Virginia-based private practice dietitian specializing in digestive disorders. She was recognized as one of the top nutritionists in the DC metro area by the Washingtonian and was selected as the “Emerging Dietetics Leader of the Year” for Virginia.

    Cheryl is an author for papers accepted by the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (JAND), PlosOne and Practical Gastroenterology on Ehlers-Danlos, POTS, Mast Cell Diseases, and on living with disabilities. She has written for Today’s Dietitian, Simply Gluten-free Magazine, Gluten-free Living, Gluten Intolerance Group, and other trade publications.

    Cheryl is visually impaired, has had mobility limitations for over 20 years, and neurodivergent, which she says has helped her with resourcefulness and empathy toward her patient populations.

    Heather Marretta, MS, RDN is a pediatric dietitian who obtained her bachelor's degree in nutritional science at Montclair State University, then went on to complete her dietetic internship at UMDNJ, now Rutgers University School of Health-Related Professions.

    She specializes in working with children who have ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. Heather also has a Master of Science in Teaching. Her special education experience coupled with her current role as a dietitian makes her a true expert in the field of pediatric nutrition.

    This episode is taken from a live presentation that Bhavin conducted during the DishWithDina #MadeWithLove Wellness Retreat in December 2021 where Bhavin highlighted the importance of prostate health, discussed essential cancer screenings, and went beyond physical health as he addressed the stigma surrounding masculinity and often-overlooked issues of eating disorders and suicide among men.

    Bhavin Mistry, MAN, RD is a Registered Dietitian based in Ontario, Canada. He completed the Master of Applied Nutrition program at the University of Guelph along with his dietetic practical training.

    Bhavin kickstarted his dream career in a variety of areas such as long-term care and home care health services. He is passionate about men's health and wellbeing, nutrition education for children/youth, and a major advocate for diversity and cultural representation within the dietetics field.
