    Embracing the Chaos

    Embracing the Chaos

In 2023 you’re going to have to learn how to rise above the situations and circumstances that come at you this year. Maybe instead of seeing them as obstacles, begin to view them as opportunities drawing out your skill sets to be further developed.

    Remembering Ruth

    Remembering Ruth

Many of us are fortunate to have people in our lives who have been/are staples in shaping and molding us into the people we are today. This month in March we are celebrating women and this podcast is dedicated to a woman who exemplified both. Her name may not be as infamous as Sojourner Truth, Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt or any of the other women who are written and spoken about this month, but my grandmother Ruth Elaine Bey Jessamy London could have held her own alongside of them.

I dedicate today's episode to her as March 17th marks the 35th anniversary of her passing. Although she may have left my sight, I'll never let her leave my heart,

A Journey Through the Shadows of Death

A Journey Through the Shadows of Death

Addiction is defined as an inability to stop using a substance or engaging in a behavior even though it's causing psychological or physical harm. This episode takes an up close and personal look at C Thomas Carson's walk through the shadows of death in which he fought a life of addictions for a period of twenty five years.

While this episode gives an overall image of what his experience was like, his book the same title as this episode, takes that image and turns it into a full blown life size photo. C Thomas writes almost poetically as he brings you alongside of the journey. I highly recommend ordering a copy (no longer available in print) from C Thomas directly. $crossriver is his cash app.

There is hope for anyone who is ready to put in the work to be freed of their addiction, no matter what the addiction may be. There Is Hope!

    25 Years & It's Still A Yes

    25 Years & It's Still A Yes

The first Indelible Logos episode of 2022 invites you to spend a few minutes with the hubbster (AKA Francis) and I on our 25 wedding Anniversary.

It’s hard to believe so many years have passed and though we’ve had our mountaintop highs, we’ve also experienced a few deep diving lows, only to find out that we both have chosen to still say yes to the vows we spoke in a private ceremony at 5 pm on a Friday night back on January 17, 1997.

True confession moment… Francis is everything I never knew I always wanted. See God often times will give you what you need because it’ll be far better than what you want. Romans 8:28 says He Works All Things Together For Good.

Perhaps Francis and I are only just at the start of what God has had in mind for our marriage all along.

    The Gift of Reclaiming Hearts

    The Gift of Reclaiming Hearts

Have you ever hoped for a thing and it winded up turning out better than what you imagined? That’s what this episode entitled “The Gift of Reclaiming Hearts” exemplifies, well at least for me.

I had the honor of meeting and having a one on one conversation with Denise Jones, author of one of my new favorite Audible titles, “Secrets Over Sweet Tea” and founder of Reclaiming Hearts ministries.

You are invited to listen in our time together and take any of the many nuggets of wisdom shared. I promise this episode is full of all the ways and meanings in which Christmastime pulls at your heart strings.

Didn’t get enough of Denise? I know the feeling! You can find her on any of these platforms:
