In recent years there has been a huge upheaval surrounding cleaning and the stigmas attached to it. With the admiration of cleaning organisations expanding on social media platforms, this hobby hasn’t fallen short of a being called a phenomenon- due to the influences on individuals. Cleaning has become more than ‘just cleaning’, it has helped many people cope with stress and anxiety which in turn created a friendly and loving community. This podcast will develop an understanding of the changes occurred in the past century, and question the level of impact it had on others. As well as this, I will explore the effects social interactions can have within an online, digital cleaning society by investigating cleaning Netnography.
